Martin Prado Becomes Hits Leader in Major League

Martin PradoVenezuela’s Martin Prado, who plays for the Atlanta Braves, has not only connected numerous singles and doubles so far during the season, but he has also shown his power inside the field by hitting six home runs in July, his highest tally since he started in the Major Leagues, reported the Venezuelan newspaper Últimas Noticias.

Furthermore, Prado ranks second amongst the best batters in the National League, with an average of .319. He’s also is a leader in hits, with 134, and ranks third in doubles, with 28, informed the Venezuelan newspaper.

His consistency in hitting has allowed Prado to become one of the key players for the Braves, with 71 career runs, 134 hits and 28 doubles, according to the newspaper.

Prado has also been a fundamental player allowing the Braves to lead the National League’s Eastern Division, with 58 wins and 45 losses.
